From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

N7390K departed the flying "a" ranch (pvt) enroute to sulfer creek ranch (pvt) for breakfast. Approximately 2.5 miles south of Landmark airstrip (0U0) N7390K and N162CG collided. The inflight contact resulted in damage to N162CG'S propeller blades and the fuselage belly, and damage to N7390K appears to be the top of the baggage compartment and vertical stabilizer. N7390K contacted the earth inverted and caught fire. N162CG attempted to land at the Landmark airstrip but landed short in a meadow.
