From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Student pilot practicing takeoff and landings. On third landing, during the flare, pilot stated that a wind gust pushed the aircraft down to the runway, nose first. Pilot believes that is when the prop tips hit the runway. After gaining control of the aircraft, pilot coordinated with the control tower to taxi off the rwy, shut down and check the aircraft. After seeing minor damage to 2 of the 3 blades, he taxied to the FBO. Tower had announced the winds at 170 @ 7 KTS shortly before landing.
