What happened

Pilot was at cruise when he switched fuel tanks. Engine sputtered and failed. Pilot switched tanks attempted restart. Unable to regain engine power pilot made an off field landing into a soybean field. Upon touchdown aircraft flipped over onto back. A neighbor lifted the tail of the aircraft allowing the pilot to exit the aircraft. Pilot received minor injuries.
