From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft was returning from lancaster (bqr) around 19:30 and ran out of fuel. Emergency landing was attempted (42.960749, -77.384466 boughton hill rd Victor NY.) To what appeared to be a open field. Field was in fact a corn field and aircraft nosed over and came to rest upside down. Pilot was uninjured and extricated himself. Minor damage to aircraft. Ontario county sheriff's were called and investigator joseph murphy responded. He interviewed the pilot and determined that pilot was not intoxicated and while upset appeared normal. Investigator murphy documented the scene and NTSB was notified. A/c was upright and released to be moved. A/c was moved to hopewell (90NY) airport by owner/pilot the following day by removing the wing and trailed.
