From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The airplane was in a left bank when it hit high voltage power wires, which sliced off a large portion (3/4) of the right wing. The right wing was found directly under the power line. The aircraft travelled approximately 100-150 yards from the initial impact point and struck several trees before coming to rest at the base of large tree. The aircraft engine and propeller assembly were torn-off from the airframe at final impact and traveled an additional 70-80 feet. The wooded area separated two soy bean fields that were being worked by privacy data omitted. Several pieces of the aircraft were spread out from the initial impact to the final impact point. The tail assembly of the aircraft was torn and twisted in one section and it came around the right side of the aircraft towards the cockpit. The aircraft came to a rest on its right side. A hand-held GPS was found at the seen and forwarded to the NTSB for data download. No aircraft mechanical discrepancies were found during the investigation.

Aircraft records were not available for review: travelled to privacy data omitted home to review records and found that she had been admitted into the hospital in critical condition. No other relatives able to provide access to records. Airworthiness of the aircraft was not a factor in this accident based on the investigation by this office, NTSB and the manufacturer investigators that reviewed the wreckage. Total airframe hours listed in block 13E as 0000 the information was not available - no hobbs or other time keeping system was installed on the aircraft. Medical restriction information also called for "holder shall possess glasses for near & intermediate vision". It is unknown if privacy data omitted was wearing eye glasses at the time of the accident.

As the FAA filed it

THE WOODED AREA SEPARATED TWO SOY BEAN FIELDS THAT WERE BEING WORKED BY ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT RECORDS WERE NOT AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW: TRAVELLED TO ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ HOME TO REVIEW RECORDS AND FOUND THAT SHE HAD BEEN ADMITTED INTO THE HOSPITAL IN CRITICAL CONDITION. IT IS UNKNOWN IF ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS WEARING EYE GLASSES AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT.
