From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft was cleared to land runway 30 at klws. Pilot was executing a soft field three point landing. Upon touchdown, the left wing began to dip. Pilot applied right aileron which brought the left wing up. However, the left wing dipped again as aileron effectiveness was lost. The left wing tip struck the runway causing the aircraft to spin 180 degrees to the left where it came to rest. The left main landing gear was found seperated from the aircraft. No injuries were reported.
