From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

The swaa aircraft sustained damage to the left hand winglet. The passengers from both aircraft were safely deplaned by mobile stairs from the L1 doors and brought to the terminal. There were no reported injuries to passengers or crew members on either aircraft and no further reported damage to any other property. The taxiway a and taxiway e intersection area was closed temporarily and reopened at 1200 hours EST.

The swaa aircraft was repaired in lga and returned to service. The aala aircraft had repairs accomplished in lga so it could be maintenance ferried to tulsa, ok for completion of repairs.

This event was submitted to the asap event review committee (erc) for inclusion in the asap program by the flight crews of both subject air carriers.
