From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Student was on his first solo flight. On his first approach the pilot said he had to much airspeed throughout the approach and landing and hit fairly hard. He then begain to porpose. After bouncing a couple of times the pilot decided to initiate a go around. He made a normal traffic pattern and landed without further incident. When he got out of the aircraft they noticed he had done some damage to the nose strut. After further inspection they found he had creased the firewall.
