From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

N34MP approached kalx at approximately 105 knots. Full flaps and gear down were executed on final. Runway 18 has a 1.4% downward gradient and the pilot reported winds from 200 at 12 knots. The aircraft bounced on initial touchdown then touched down a second time. The pilot made a decision to perform a go-around.

The pilot applied power, retracted flaps and retracted the landing gear. The aircraft had not established a positive rate of climb and made gear up contact with the runway centerline approximately 3480 feet down the runway as evidenced by the propstrike signatures. The aircraft slid to a stop approximately 700 feet later to the righthand side of the runway adjacent to the grass.

No injuries reported.
