What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Nose gear failed to center, wouldn't retract. On landing the aircraft departed the left side of the runway causing both main gear to fail. Nose gear was observed to be underinflated. Later tests showed that the strut did hold pressure with minimal leakdown. Even fully inflated, the centering cam did not work reliably. Nose strut, steering servo, and computer removed and sent to factory for analysis. Will be amended once analysis complete.
