From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot was enroute to naples airport (kapf) when trying to land and selecting the gear to the extended position the gear actuator circuit breaker tripped and landing gear stayed in the up position, also the pilot followed his emergency gear extension checklist but apparently the emergency gear cable was jammed and would not move the gear down, at that time pilot decided to burn fuel and return to Fort Lauderdale executive airport (kfxe) and perform a gear up landing. Aircraft is currently located at a repair station undergoing maintenance and repairs in order to determine the cause of the landing gear failure. Will ask the repair station for an maintenance deficiency report (mdr).
