privacy data omitted Was the PIC of aircraft N883PJ when it had a prop strike on runway 25R at Long Beach Airport (lgb) on August 11, 2015. The facts show that privacy data omitted was the cause of the prop strike and he admitted it to the investigators of the case during his interview at the FSDO office. The timeline for the incident are as follow per the certified ATC voice records. Times called out are in reference to time on voice recordings:
14:48 ? N883PJ requests to return to aces high on 25R
14:58 ? Tower tells N883PJ to proceed to inbound
17:18 ? Tower clears N883PJ to land on 25R
21:24 ? N883PJ requests go-around
22:33 ? N883PJ tells tower the airplane is not getting power and that the oil light is on and asks to land on 12.
22:41 ? Tower tells N883PJ he is cleared to land on 12
24:02 ? N883PJ request taxiway L3 (lima) because he is having an issue with the engine.

privacy data omitted Had rented the Cirrus SR20 from aces high flying business on August 11, 2015. He flew several landings at (klgb) Long Beach and then flew toward (kavx) catalina on his way to (ktoa) torrance airport to perform landings before returning to lgb. He returned to lgb and received fuel at pacific jet center. privacy data omitted Can be seen on the security camera footage trying to taxi out with a right main gear still chocked. He had to be stopped by an employee of the pacific jet center after the aircraft had already turned 90 degrees toward the hangar. This was witnessed by the fueler that serviced the aircraft earlier that day. The fueler stated that he did not see any damage to the prop when fueling. After leaving on 25L, privacy data omitted can be heard on the ATC recordings asking for permission to land on runway 25R. He then is heard asking for a go around due to the aircraft not getting power and having an oil light on and asks for permission to land on 12. He is given permission to land on 12 and goes to the end of the runway where he is heard asking for permission to cross 25L using taxi way lima back to aces high. Once back at aces high, privacy data omitted realizes that he had a prop strike and contacts privacy data omitted, owner of aces high. No one contacted airport operations about the prop strike. Upon inspection, it is evident why privacy data omitted had an oil light on. The impact from the nose gear to the runway pushed back several nose gear pucks backward into the oil filter causing oil leakage to it. The oil filter had a half moon indent to the forward side where it was hit. The loss of power was due to the prop strike and all three prop blade tips being bent over backwards.
Lgb airport operations discovered the prop strike damage to runway 25R at approximately 06:30PST on August 12, 2015 during the daily morning runway inspection. A 202? Long oil spill was discovered 151? From the end of the prop strike damage marks. Several fragments of fiberglass which appear to match the nose wheel fairing damage to N883PJ were recovered by lgb airport operations near the prop strike marks on runway 25R. After lgb airport operations discovered the runway damage and oil spill, they contacted the Long Beach police department to locate any damaged aircraft at the airport. The police found N883PJ on the ramp by aces high with prop strike damage, nose wheel fairing damage and leaking engine oil on the exterior of the aircraft and on the adjacent ground. This information is detailed in the Long Beach police department report 15-49014 and on Long Beach Airport operations report dated August 12, 2015 written by privacy data omitted.
