From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot stated he just performed a touch and go in woodville Texas airport O9R. Climbed to aproximately 2000 feet, headed back to home base airport XS99. Once level pilot stated the engine shuttered and RPM reduced but was still making adequate to sustain flight. Pilot stated after aproximately 5 more minutes had passed the engine shuttered again, but this time the RPM went below making enough power to sustain flight. The pilot said the engine went to idle and shut down. Pilot continued to fly the aircraft straight and level looking for a place to land. Pilot located a pipeline rightaway and proceded to land his aircraft. Pilot landed his aircraft and plowed through some deep ruts he didn't see because of the high grass. The ruts collapsed the landing gear and caused minor damage to the belly and propeller.
