From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft was cleared for takeoff on rwy 15. The airman reported that with the speed increasing at takeoff power the aircraft became difficult to control via steering with rudder inputs. The airman aborted the takeoff between 70-80 knots by bringing both power levers to idle. The airman applied the brakes and was unable to maintain directional control. The right main landing gear exited the runway at midfield and came to rest in the grass. After the incident it was discovered the right main landing gear tire was blown.
