From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Upon arrival at Bakersfield (bfl), on left base the right main gear showed an unsafe indication. The right main gear light was not illuminated and the red unsafe gear light was illuminated. The tower was advised of the situation. A flyby was conducted. The tower stated the gear appears to be in the down positon. The pilot elected to depart the pattern and perform a manual gear extension which resulted in the same indications. The aircraft was cleared to land on 30R. On landing rollout the right main gear collapsed and the aircraft came to rest on the runway side of the taixway hold line.
