From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

AAL476 was enroute from phx to msp and was beginning the descent. Air traffic control advised the pilot that they would experience light turbulence in the descent. Pilot announced to the passengers that there would be some turbulence on the descent and to remain seated and ensure seatbelts were fastened. One passenger stood up and due to a combination of aircraft maneuvering and turbulence, the passenger fell and fractured her leg. The flight declared an emergency and was given clearance to msp runway 12. Passenger was transported to local hospital upon landing.
