From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

While on approach for landing to 19L at North Perry Airport (hwo) the pilot experienced a power loss, he then checked oil temp and pressure and after finding this was normal tried adding power but the engine remained pretty much at idle. At this point he determined that he was not going to be able to reach the runway so he then advised the tower and declared an emergency. The pilot then landed the aircraft on a road approximately 0.5 miles north of the airport that was free from cars and people. The aircraft?s left wing struck a light-pole during the landing and thereby causing the aircraft to abruptly drop to the ground and shearing off the nose landing gear. The aircraft?s left wing suffered substantial damage along with the propeller being bent from striking the ground. The pilot sustained only a minor cut to his head and was coherent and in good condition.
