From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot prepared for flight, after engine was pre-heated, aircraft taxied to runway, then applied full throttle, accelerated, raised the tail and noted no indicated airspeed, at which time power was reduced to idle and decelerated the airplane with the brakes. The last 15 feet of roll extended 5 feet past the runway end lighting and one light damaged the left wheel pant. The airplane came to rest sitting on its main wheel tires and two of the four propeller blades tips were damaged. Prop strike.
