From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot intended to fly two circuits of the pattern to warm up the engine oil for an oil change. The first touch and go was completed successfully. The second circuit was intended to be a full stop landing. The pilot landed the aircraft "gear up". The pilot stated he had disrupted his normal procedure by experimenting with landing with the speed brakes and full flaps carrying some power to adjust for that. The pilot also stated that he usually checks gear down on down wind and then on final. Pilot failed to check gear down on this landing.
