From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During the 7th landing of an instructional flight in the pattern at mmv, aircraft touched down hard, bounced, and when touching down again, the nose gear folded under the aircraft and the propeller struck the ground. Post accident investigation determined the nose wheel spring strut, near the wheel, had fractured due to the impact with the ground and the strut appears to have folded under belly after the student applied brakes. The aircraft sustained substantial damage to the fire wall area and lower fuselage skin. No injuries to CFI or student.
