From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

After normal landing and during rollout, the aircraft felt as if it hit a bump, the nose of the aircraft lowered and a loud metal dragging sound could be heard. As the aircraft came to a stop and the pilot exited the aircraft for examination, it was discovered that the nose landing gear had collapsed and the fuselage was resting on top of the nose landing gear wheel and tire. It was also noted that the tire was flat and it was lodged into the landing gear's fork and that the strut was broken off at around the midpoint.
