From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

Then witness hears deceleration of the engine while the aircraft begins to sink while slightly rolling right and then correcting by yawing left. Then the witness hears another power increase with aircraft making a hard roll to the left while aircraft continues to sink. The left wing of this aircraft impacted the dirt, left side of runway, four right, which spun the aircraft 1/4 turn around coming to rest off of taxi way b. approximately 30 seconds later, canopy opens and pilot exits aircraft.
