From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

While departing from klas airport in Las Vegas, Nevada, aircraft was on a departure roll on runway 19L and the pilot noticed a slight thumping noise as the aircraft was near rotation speed.

Pilot continued the takeoff and found that the gear would not retract, there were no other issues noted at the time.

Upon landing the pilot found that the gear safety "squat" switch and associated wiring cable had been damaged from what appeared to be impact damage.

Pilot also discovered superficial damage, which had not been present prior to the flight, on the right main gear door and right flap.

There was no evidence of paint transfer found on the aircraft.

Pilot reported the event to klas tower personnel after discovering the damage to ensure no other aircraft were damaged.
