From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On landing as nose wheel touched runway, the occupants of the aircraft felt the aircraft tail raise and nose lower slightly. As the landing roll-out progress, this happened again, with the prop striking the pavement. The engine continued to run after the aircraft came to a full stop, PIC shut it down normally. The nose strut was bent backawrds with the wheel pant penetrating the engine cowl and the wheel swivel/hub in a vertical position. Slight nicking of propellor blade tips was observed. No foreign objects on rnwy were noted. No witnesses to incident.
