From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Flight was running late;

G2 ramp employee entered aft cargo compartment not following company procedures to use a beltloader while rushing to turn the aircraft for next flight;

An off-duty G2 ramp supervisor joined the on-duty ramp crew to assist and shut the aft cargo door without verifying anyone was there, inadvertently locking the G2 ramp employee in the aft cargo compartment;

The trapped G2 ramp employee failed to contact immediate station personnel to let them know he was trapped, however placed a call to his parents in Florida who in turn dialed 911;

Aircraft departed with the G2 ramp employee in that aft cargo bay and flew to destination (kiad) dulles;

Emergency 911 dispatch eventually reached authorities, but not until the aircraft had already landed at kiad;

Flight crew of ash 6060 were first notified by tower after landing of possible ramp employee trapped in a cargo bay, then expedited taxi to the gate where the aircraft was met by paramedics, fire department and police services.

G2 ramp employee emerged from the aft cargo bay of the aircraft in good condition - unharmed. Later questioned by tsa and mwaa police authorities and released to return to (kclt) Charlotte, NC. For additional questioning by company and airport personnel.
