From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot stated "I touched down just before the 1000? Marks, lets call it 800? From the beginning of 13. It was about 300? Later I had the speed brakes and spoilers out and the nose wheel down and initiated braking. It probably was at about the 2000? Marker that I had the speed brakes and spoilers retracted and the flaps retracted and started applying takeoff power. By taxiway A3 I knew I was in trouble, had the power out and tried to get the plane back under control."

Observations from several witnesses were that approximatley 1 hour prior to accident sleet and freezing rain/drizzle moved into the area and was coating everything with ice.

As the FAA filed it
