From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft departed from the wellington club airport (FD38) on February 2, 2017 and continued its flight to Miami Executive Airport (ktmb).

While the aircraft was on final approach to ktmb at approximately 1300 hours EST for landing, the pilot of the aircraft toggled the landing gear handle to the down position to enable landing gear deployment. The landing gear failed to deploy and the (3 )landing gear down position indicator lights failed to illuminate.

The pilot cycled the gear handle several times but the landing gear still failed to deploy. The pilot activated the emergency blown-down system via manual controls from the cockpit. The left and right main landing gear deployed but nose landing gear did not drop into the down and locked position.

The pilot landed the aircraft on the main landing gear. The propeller struck the runway. The aircraft came to rest on the runway centerline.

The aircraft?s engine and propeller sustained major damage and the lower engine cowling sustained minor damage. The pilot was the only person onboard the aircraft and there were no injuries.
