From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

At approximately 0830 on the morning of 03/23/2017 in visual meterological conditions the pilot of N2505N departed Wray airport (2V5) in a south-westerly direction with the intent of visually inspecting a friend's field. The field in question is approximately 6-7 miles from 2V5 on approximately a 255 degree heading. While approaching the field the pilot descended to roughly 50 feet above ground level. As the pilot crossed a county road the aircraft came into contact with power-lines. The pilot, upon recognizing what had happened, initiated a climb and returned back to 2V5. An uneventful landing ensued with the pilot receiving no injuries and the aircraft receiving minor damage.
