What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
The pilot was flying his SQ2, a highly modified experimental stol aircraft, at the edge of its stall envelope. The headwind subsided, resulting in a loss of lift and subsequent stall. Also incorrect application of ailerons as the pilot attempts to roll right; causing additional drag on the left wing, which increased its stalled condition.
