From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

While in cruise flight at 4000' MSL over Garfield WA, pilot noticed small vibration in engine then subsequently the propeller separated from aircraft. Pilot made a forced landing on state route 27 approximately 1.5 miles south of Garfield at mile marker 23. Examination of front engine case, indicates crankshaft separation at propeller flange and main forward engine bearing.
