From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft and two occupants were on the return leg of a flight from the Orange airport in Orange, MA to keene airport, keene NH. On the return leg to ore the pilot in command negelected to lower the landing gear during his normal arrival sequence. The pilot also forgot to accomplish his final landing checklist items and did not notice that the gear was not selected to the down position. Additionally it was reported by the pilot, the aircraft owner, that the gear warning horn was not operational at the time of this incident and so did not function as a warning of the gear retracted when the power was reduced to idle for landing. The aircraft landed with the gear retracted and minor damage resulted from contact with the runway. Both occupants exited the aircraft with no injuries and the aircraft was placed on trailer by airport personnel and moved to the hangar area.
