From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot was flying the aircraft from fgx to sym for an annual inspection. Prior to landing ,the pilot noticed a noise he did not recognize, which was the gear up warning horn. The pilot continued his landing, then hearing a loud noise upon touchdown, which was the props and flaps contacting the runway surface. Electing to do a go around, the pilot then realized what had happened, and what the initial noise was. The pilot put the landing gear down, and landed without further incident. During taxi in, the pilot retracted the flaps and noticed noise, this from the flaps being damaged.
