From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Departed kbvo around 5 pm on a direct flight to 2F6 to fuel N95442, which is 28 statute miles. Upon departure left tank low fuel light was on, right tank low fuel light was off and showed between 1/8 and 1/4 full. Fuel selector was on right tank. Pilot made radio announcement on 122.8 to Skiatook to report 7 miles nnw and inbound. Reported mid field left downwind leg landing rwy 36. Deployed gear and added first notch of flaps. Slowed aircraft to 80KTS. Made left base turn and then left turn to final with power pulled back to 15 in/mg. As the glide scope looked correct, added power with no response from throttle. Pumped throttle several times with no response from engine. Low altitude getting critical, no power from engine made slight right turn to avoid upcoming power lines and made off field landing in the only opening in sight. The right wing impacted the ground with enough force to pitch the aircraft onto the left gear causing it to fold up. Subsequently the nose gear impacted the ground and was ripped from the aircraft, the propeller struck next and the aircraft slid approximately 160' before coming to rest on a residential driveway.
