From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot accepted clearance for RNAV (LPV) 9R at kptk. Pilot was asked by approach controller to keep speed up (155KIAS) due to jet aircraft following on approach. Pilot appeared to begin final approach segment late resulting in the aircraft being high and fast inside faf. Pilot stated that he "lost it" as he approached minimums and drifted south of course and flew through/below the glide slope until striking trees south of the final approach course approximately 30 feet from ground. Pilot recovered aircraft and observed runway as he recovered aircraft. Pilot proceeded to runway without further incident.
