?November 4, 2017, at 1400 local, N705BC, an RV-7A, landed 100 feet short of runway striking an airport lighting fixture at khob, Hobbs, new Mexico. The aircraft was being operated on a personal flight. VMC visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time and no flight plan was filed. Aircraft sustained minor damage, and pilot privacy data omitted sustained no injuries. There were no other passengers on board. The flight originated from khob on November 4, 2017 at 1400 local.
