What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
The pilot stated she approached the runway at too high of an airspeed and still continued to land. She then had to apply hard braking to stop the aircraft before coming to the end of the runway. The hard braking caused the brakes to lock up which resulted in the aircraft making an immediate left turn into the grass. The right landing gear door struck the runway light causing minor damage to the door. The propeller struck the grass causing minor damage to the propeller.
