From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft was departing runway 21 and ended up hitting hangars left of the runway. Inspections revealed the aircraft touched down twice before hitting the first hangar. The first ground strike appeared to be the left main wheel and the aircraft became airborne again. The second ground strike was the left main first then the right touched down for short distance and the aircraft became airborne again. The aircraft then struck the first hangar about 10 feet up with its left wing. The aircraft spun to the right hitting the second hangar with the nose and right wing. The aircraft was substantially damaged. There were no injuries.
