From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Flight was being conducted from kingman to Casa Grande. Cross country portion of the flight was uneventful. When the pilot entered the pattern at Casa Grande he got busy watching for other traffic in the pattern. He stated that he was distracted and forgot to put the gear down. He also stated that he ?had not been flying much lately?.

The aircraft landed with the landing gear retracted. Damage consisted of scratches on belly skin, nose gear doors, and entrance step. Prop was damaged (tips bent), but no flap damage occurred as the flaps were only extended to 10 degrees for landing.

The pilot was very upset with himself and admitted that he really needed to get out, get current, & fly more so he could stay current.
