From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Inbound to vgt from U08 was cleared into las Vegas class bravo airspace by nellis approach. Once handed off to North Las Vegas control tower and cleared to land runway 12L, began setting up for landing runway 12L, adjusted speed and set flaps to 15-18 degrees. Tower contracted pilot and offered runway 12R which the pilot accepted. Set up for landing runway 12R, speed 80 mph over the numbers. As the pilot pitched up he could hear the rear antennas scrape the runway. At that point he remembered that he had forgotten to lower the landing gear.
