From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During take-off roll while the aircraft was gaining speed for flight wth the nose gear still on the ground, the pilot noticed the aircraft began veering off the center line of the runway increasingly fast therefore turning sharply off to the side of the runway traveling at approximately sixty miles an hour. As soon as the pilot recognized something was wrong he shut the engine off and began applying pressure to the brakes to bring the aircraft to a safe stop. As the pilot was attempting to bring the aircraft to a controlled stop, the aircraft continued veering off the runway and through a ditch causing one blade of the propellor to strike the ground causing its damage.
