What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
PIC was performing a return to service flight/ferry flight to return the aircraft to a satellite location. On departure the aircraft became airborne after an estimated 600-800 foot roll. The aircraft was observed to pitch up to a unusually nose-high attitude. According to witness and pilot statements, the right wing began to drop. The PIC responded, according to his statement, by left aileron correction. The aircraft continued to roll right and the PIC responded with aft yoke input. The aircraft impacted the ground in a wing low, nose low, attitude indicative of a stall/spin. The aircraft was destroyed in the accident and PIC was seriously injured.
