From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Helicopter departed heliport (73T) enroute to lnc airport. The purpose of the flight was to conduct emergency procedures training, practicing touchdown auto-rotations in the grass parallel to rwy 31. The pic/instructor was demonstrating an auto-rotation to the ground. After touchdown, the helicopter skids dug into the ground causing the nose to pitch down and the helicopter to roll forward. The PIC applied aft cyclic to counter act the forward movement causing the main rotor blades to contact the left side winglet.
