From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

After takeoff from kbdl upon attempted landing gear retraction, crew reports hydraulic low pressure with loss of hydraulic fluid and land gear failure to retract. Crew followed emergency checklist procedures and elected to divert to fok due to longer runway. Aircraft landed without further incident no injuries. Aircraft was towed from runway due to loss of NLG steering and braking capabilities.

Cause of hydraulic system failure found to be ruptured NLG retraction hose SDR has been filed. An FAA safety recommendation for airworthiness directive will be sent due to several of these hoses failing as listed in FAA SDR database
