From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

At approx 1230 on Saturday March 24th, pilot taxied out for takeoff on runway 16R. During takeoff, at about 60 knots the nose dropped a couple of inches. Pilot suspected a blown nose gear tire and retarded the throttle to idle and began applying the brakes. The nose continued to drop and the propeller began to contact the runway. The aircraft began to veer to the right as the right main landing gear collapsed followed shortly by the left main. The aircraft departed the right side of the runway mostly on its belly at about 40 mph and came to rest about 30 feet from the edge of the runway.
