From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot in command (PIC) interview notes:

1) PIC pulled weather information for the intended flight prior to takeoff.

2)PIC stated weather was not a factor in the accident.

3) Prior to the accident during approach to land, the PIC originally requested runway 34 but was instructed to land runway 25 with a 6KT @ 340 crosswind.

4) PIC made a standard approach to land on runway 34 with no issues noted prior to touchdown.

5) PIC recollects touching down but does not recollect the moment prior to the accident.

She is unaware at what point after touchdown the landing gear attachment separated.

The gear collapsed due to unknown factors and could not be attributed to pilot error or lack of maintenance.

Provided form and suggested the
