What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Aircraft on visual approach rwy 04, during rollout aircraft veered to left, pilot stated he applied full right rudder and right brake to correct, however aircraft did not respond to control inputs and departed left side of runway. Aircraft and both propellers contacted runway signage off to side of runway 04 and taxiway b.
Examination of available airport video of landing rollout not helpful due to distance from aircraft and clarity.
Examination of aircraft by airworthiness inspector revealed no apparent mechanical issue prior to damage received by contact with airport signage.
Personnel that towed aircraft to ramp after incident stated no abnormal gear indications during towing. Operations inspector examination of cockpit found a/p y/d switches in off position (y/d switch missing plastic cap) and rudder boost switch in off position.
