From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The stuednt pilot was conducting a solo flight from kmqy to M54. Landing weather was checked via the AWOS. The pilot states he touched down just beyond the numbers on rwy 19 at 70 knots with the first flap setting. The aircraft began drifting to the right immediately after touch down. He felt the left wing was trying to come up and states he was holding left rudder and not braking. The aircraft exited the runway to the right after crossing the 1000 foot marker. The aircraft was brought to a stop and the propeller struck the ground due to the aircraft nose sinking in mud. The pilot then shut off the engine and contacted the airport at 0833.
