From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Airman (pilot) privacy data omitted privacy data omitted was interviewed by the oakland FSDO faast team operations program manager regarding a gear up landing at gnoss field, CA. The pilot stated that he was flying from petaluma, CA to Novato, CA (a 4 minute flight). During the flight, he states that he was distracted by two other aircraft in the pattern at gnoss field and by the noise abatement procedure. He does not recall whether or not he heard the gear warning horn. The aircraft landed with the gear in up position. The fasst team program manager recommended he fly with a flight instructor to review scenarios that would be distracting and cause him to feel rushed and perhaps not complete the before landing checklist. The pilot agreed this extra training would be a good idea and will follow up with the FSDO when it is completed.
