From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot states that he was unable to maintain runway centerline. Pilot attempted to initiate a go around and subsequently stalled the left wing approximately 400 yards from the runway threshold. The aircraft veered left of the runway and made contact with the ground. The aircraft cartwheeled and came to rest in the field 50 yards left of runway centerline. The front two nose tires were sheared from the pontoons from impact with thte ground. The left wing suffered impact damage from the wingtip to approximately 5 feet inboard. No damage to either engine.
