From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On June 26, 2018, privacy data omitted was assisting his friend with the netting and capturing of nilgai (boselaphus tragocamelus) so that ground crew would move them to a different location. privacy data omitted Used Robinson N122CH to move around the private ranch and to capture the nilgai. At approximately 0800L, his friend fired a net that caught a nilgai and the front left (passenger side) skid. The weight of the animal pulling against the skid caused the helicopter to be pulled to the ground, striking skid first before rolling over to the left.

None of the occupants received any injuries. The helicopter was rendered unrepairable/destroyed due to the extensive damage to the frame and components.
